Better Body Image

This workshop is for women and men who struggle with Body Image or Eating Disorders. The class will consist of an introduction, stretching, a 1 hour beginner karate class, followed by a discussion group. No martial arts experience necessary.

About Meghan Wilson
Meghan Wilson received her 3rd degree black belt in 2014. She has been practicing Shotokan Karate for 25 years and has been teaching for 15 years. She is also in recovery from an eating disorder. She found the practice of karate instrumental in her recovery, in building confidence in and appreciation for her body. She hopes to share this experience with others who might struggle with similar concerns.
