More information on Dojo Classes
Classes meet inside the dojo. The only areas of the dojo that are accessible are the lobbies and main training floor.

We have installed a medical grade air filtration system: We have purchased two IQair filtration systems. The IQAir HealthPro Plus features HyperHEPA filtration technology for superior airborne particle removal. IQAir’s HyperHEPA filtration is tested and certified by an independent third-party lab to effectively filter 99.5% of harmful ultrafine pollution particles down to 0.003 microns in size. This is 100 times smaller than what is achieved with ordinary air filtration technology and 10 times smaller than a virus. You can find more information on this system here: IQair features
Window fans: We will have large window fans operating to bring in outside air. We will use the fans for as long as the weather permits.
Social distancing required: We will maintain at least twelve feet between students at all times during class. The lobby and entry social distance requirement is six feet.
Masks required: A mask must be worn at all times in the dojo. This includes during, before and after classes.
Hand Sanitizer: A hand sanitizer dispenser is available at the entrance to the dojo. All students must use the sanitizer upon entry.
Bring your own water: The water dispenser is no longer available. Please bring your own water or other drinks to the dojo.
Dojo cleaning between classes: We will clean and sanitize the dojo between classes.

Class sizes are limited. Class sizes are limited to five students per class. This is to comply with the State of Minnesota rules and to allow for social distancing.
No visitors. We don’t allow visitors to watch the class. This includes parents whose child is in the class.
The classes are open to all levels. All classes are open to all levels. Over time we will adjust our classes for different levels.
Live Streaming will continue. We have many students that are not yet comfortable practicing with others in a class. Because of this, we will continue offering Live Streaming classes for the foreseeable future. MKA of St Paul members that have paid their monthly membership will receive links to join the karate classes. Yoga classes are available to those with current class cards, and individual classes for yoga are available as well.
Pay Dues online. To pay your dues, or buy a yoga card, go to Dues payment page
Make a donation. The cost of the air filtration system and other necessities required to reopen was quite expensive. This has been difficult for us considering our limited income at this time. If you would like to make a donation to help support the dojo, go to Donation page
We thank you for understanding, and hope that all our students are taking steps to stay safe. Further announcements will be made here, and through the NCR newsletter.
